It isn't Browne's Quincunx! The term was first coined by the astronomer Kepler in 1604. (OED) Also the frontispiece illustration of the Quincunx to The Garden of Cyrus was in fact 'borrowed' from Della Porta's book Villa 1592 which was in Browne's Library ~(catalogue page 12 no. 120)
